Our History

It was during the depression years of the 1930s that the blind of South Australia formed their own organisation – The Blind Welfare Association  also known as Beyond Blindness. For over 75 years the organisation has continued to provide a range of services for people who are blind or vision impaired.

Beyond Blindness ‘s focus is to promote and assist our  members in maintaining their independence and individual lifestyles.
