Putting your Wish into Words
To include Beyond Blindness in your Will is to leave a precious gift for much needed services now and into the future.
When making or amending your Will, please remember our organisation as a deserving charity. Bequests, legacies or gifts of any amount are very important and needed to ensure Beyond Blindness can continue to provide its many free services to those in need.
When making a bequest to Beyond Blindness the wording is very important, it should state precisely what you want to happen.
This is an example of what may be included in your Will:
“I ……………….. give and bequeath unto Beyond Blindness, the sum of $………………. and / or a ……% of my Estate free of all duties and I declare that the receipt of the Treasurer of the said Association for the time being shall be a complete discharge to my Executors and Trustees for the moneys paid in accordance with this bequest”.
Your Solicitor or Trustee Company can help advise you further.
Please let us know when you have included a bequest to Beyond Blindness in your Will, we would value the opportunity of thanking you in advance rather than your Executor.
